"A Northern Paradise"




This is a 18"x24" Acrylic on canvas painting titled: A Northern Paradise. I painted this scene for my wives grandfather. He said he actually got to see the northern lights once and asked me to try and duplicate a scene. I plan on shipping it out to him on Monday, all the way to Ohio. :)

I'm also in the process of making another speed painting video. I hope to have that posted very soon. :D

      I really love this painting. It's very awe-inspiring and mystical, and yet very simplistic in its design, drawing your attention to the beautiful spiral in the sky.

      I have never seen the North Lights before, but if I ever do, I hope it's as amazing as this picture.
